USNA Midshipmen (63) vs. Rice Owls (14)

Navy quarterback Ricky Dobbs ran for four touchdowns while passing only three times in a 63-14 win over Rice on Saturday.

Dobbs ran for 105 yards before yielding to backup quarterback Kriss Proctor, who added three scoring runs of his own to finish off the Mid's most decisive win of the season. Dobbs also completed two passes for 66 yards.

Marcus Curry ran for 86 yards and a score on ten carries while Proctor finished with 83 yards.

The Owls were outgained by the Mids 538 yards to 271 and held to only 16 yards rushing. Quarterback Nick Fanuzzi completed 20 of 33 passes for 241 yards and two TDs, but was picked off twice. Rice didn't score until after Navy scored touchdowns on each of its first five possessions.
